Membership Cultivation

This committee is chaired by the Board Membership Cultivation Officer. This committee assists with contacting current CAP members to find out about new initiatives or current issues being faced by the institution’s accelerated program and creating new member initiatives.

Newsletter Committee

Committee members will assist the CAP Editor and/or Director with soliciting articles for the newsletter. The CAP Connected Newsletter is published at least biannually. The Editor will serve as final editor for the newsletter and create a timeline in order to obtain all the necessary articles for publication. This committee would need to work closely with the Membership Cultivation subcommittee.

Nominations Committee

Committee members will review nominations from the membership and/or identify individuals from within the general CAP membership to be potential nominees for the appropriate and requisite positions that comprise the CAP Board. Committee Members will meet via voice and/or email within a suitable timeframe in order to present a slate of names for CAP elections. Members shall report recommendations to the current CAP Board for final approval. Involvement on this committee, which is usually chaired by a former CAP Chair, requires a time commitment only during the months of March/April/May of a given year.

Outreach Committee

This committee is chaired by the Board Outreach Officer. The goal is to solicit and recruit new membership through a planned effort of direct contacts, networking – face-to-face or social media—partnerships and/or other concentrated efforts.
