ANNOUNCING! CAP ONLINE FACULTY DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM!
For the first time, CAP is offering an online Faculty Development Certification Program for those teaching in accelerated programs.
- Do you currently teach in an accelerated program and seek a professional development opportunity that will lead to a certification from a national organization?
- Is your institution continually looking for ways to train faculty in Accelerated Learning best practices?
- Does your Teaching and Learning Department seek additional resources to assist in Faculty Development in both Accelerated and Online Best Practices?
- Are you seeking research-based ways to incorporate Best Practices in teaching accelerated and online courses?
- Do you need assistance with Professional Development of your incoming Accelerated Program Faculty?
If any of the above applies to you and your institution, CAP can help. Originally founded in 2004, CAP has a rich history in Accelerated Learning, and has become an expert in Faculty Development in Accelerated Programs. In collaboration with over 100 institutions across the country, CAP has developed Best Practices in Teaching and Learning that can be shared with community members through this Certification Program.
This online program includes research-based techniques that are based on the CAP Quality Standards, and includes training for classroom-based and online courses. This program will provide faculty tools and skills that CAP has identified as the most critical in effective teaching in Accelerated Programs.
HOW IS THIS PROGRAM OFFERED?
This online certification is a three-week course that will take place between 10/30/17 and 11/18/17.
